 Avionics Mission Statement:

Why does everyone need a mission statement these days. It reminds me too much of my time in the RNZAF, when there was a need to state the obvious with grandiose statements designed to impress the reader. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed my time in the RNZAF.

I find that it is enough to say that Avionics Canterbury Wide is here to provide our avionics services to a high standard, and to achieve customer satisfaction.
Hopefully I am not stating the obvious?

Avionics Canterbury Wide Ltd is a young company, we have only been going since 2007, but we have the expertise and the training of 21 years in the RNZAF and the years since then in the civilian avionics industry.
We provides a full range of avionics services for all aircraft types from, gliders, helicopters to fixed wing, whether they be general aviation, home built experimental or micro-lite. We are a mobile service tailored to suit the needs of all customers. The majority of our customer base is in the Christchurch area, but we travel throughout New Zealand (mainly the south island) meeting our customers needs.
Avionics Canterbury Wide is a member of the Aircraft Electronics Association.

Latest:   A Hangar for ACW Ltd at Rangiora Airfield

Well we finally did it. Some permanant premises on Rangiora airfield. We have purchased the old Canterbury Recreational Aircraft Club half round hangar and have plans to upgrade it. In the near future it will have signage. So we are now able to provide a permanant place where customers can leave their aircraft and have their Avionics work carried out. Late in 2016 Andrew completed his Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence, and in quick succession he completed 3 Avionics Rating; Group1 Radio, Instruments and Electrical. Well done Andrew, a very concerted effort and well deserved.

Just after Easter this year, Andrew Duff started as an apprentice with Avionics Canterbury Wide. Andrew is the son of Bruce Duff who works at Rangiora airfield. Andrew is a qualified boat builder who has seen the light and switched to aircraft.  He has just completed the Aircraft Maintenance Course at NMIT in Blenheim and is well on his way to getting his L.A.M.E.
